A gentle walk through the catacombs of my archives re-enlivened me to share some images on this gloomy January monday. I went for a run this morning and shook off some very beginning-of-the-year feelings. Motivation devoid and darkened by the evidently lacking sun I trawled through bleached and golden shots of yesteryear. Photography has always had this beautiful impact on me that reminded me that everything was going to be ok. It had this time machine effect on my chemical levels and briefly hightenend them whilst I re-lived previously beautiful experiences.
This post is a rather short one today as I just wanted to share some images of escapism rather than following a more storytelling route that I normally follow. I wanted to touch on the time of year and the difficulty it brings to a lot of people, including me. There are things I am working on and on top of that list is my inherent lack of relationship with winter time. I hope winter can forgive me but I just find it difficult.
For the rest of you out there I wish you brightness and warmth on this gloomy January monday.
Thanks for being here
Steve
